There was a time not all that long ago that I my greatest hope was to find a princess and a happily ever after. In the search for a princess I must say I found something a whole lot better. I found someone that I would call a prince but that would do him no justice as to how good he is to me. To me he is a god among men and I’m lucky enough to call him mine. Although this is sounding extremely cheesy and way too sappy.
The reason I write this is to show that despite the fact that I being a male and my boyfriend also a male. That love is love no matter what the gender. I heard something very disturbing today. I must say it was quite eye opening. A person while I was walking through the halls said “excuse me gay boy”. Although I will not reveal the identity of this person they know who they are. My love is just as valid as any other persons. If anyone springs up to defend me. I am going to say this now. Do not. It will only encourage this sort of behavior. I am only making it public to show people that this problem exists.
Although to some of you this may not seem like a very big deal. But how would you feel if someone brushed up against you in the hallway and said excuse me while referring to the fact that your homosexual or perhaps that you have a big nose. I was born this way and as I’m sure most people would know if you have a big nose you were born that way. No amount of hatred from other people will change that nose of yours. Nor will it change my sexual orientation. I’m not asking people to like me liking men, but I do ask that people actually get to know me for who I am before they decide to judge me based on who I fell in love with. No matter which gender they are.
Furthermore to the person that said that to me earlier today thank you for acknowledging my sexual orientation when excusing yourself for accidentally bumping me in the hallway. I appreciate that you would take such a thing into consideration when excusing yourself.
For those of you that I know I can be highly sarcastic at times. That last paragraph was not sarcasm but 100% truth. I shall turn the other cheek so to speak and take the higher path.
In conclusion I must say this world already has enough hatred. So can we as a culture and as a species join together for the common good and support each other. For if we could do that then we could find peace. I won’t ask anyone to change their beliefs to my own. But I will ask of all people to at least be open minded to the fact that you don’t have to support everyone’s decision but you should respect that decision as it has already been made. For that matter people should respect how people are born and not ask them to alter themselves too make them more perfect in your own light. For beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But true beauty is that which is pure and untarnished under the light of the sun and the darkness of the moon.
-Thank You All
Love is Love

A sad truth
P.S The big nose thing was just the first thing that came to mind and pardon me if it seemed like I was discriminating. I just needed and apt example to prove my point.
